Tadpoles in the Puddle

We had a sad thing happen today. My mom's dog Crissy suddenly died. She was old and had not been doing well, but it was still a sad parting. My mom had gotten her after she was widowed. The dog was her companion and gaurd dog for years. I helped mom find a beautiful place to lay her to rest. She was a border collie. I really like border collies.
The kids have been fascinated for the last 2 days by the tadpoles in the big puddle in the road. They caught some to bring home. They are amazing creatures. I got about 1/2 of my garden beds leveled and filled with dirt today. I also helped my daughter finish her quilt top today. The weather was warm today.
