Grandma

I went to see my grandma today. I JUST LOVE my grandma! Thank you grandma for summer vacations in the Black Hills, Christmas gifts, trips to the art museum, art lessons, lazy mornings after spending the night at her house, a princess bedroom of my own, shopping trips for school clothes, my very first tent, long drives to enjoy the scenic route, a cabin in the woods, bowl of fresh fruits, & yogurt. Thank you grandma for your laugh, your eyes that look like mine, for finding joy and contentment even in your state of advanced Alzheimer's. Thank you for thinking I am still 6 years old and loving me even though I have already grown up.
